The April 2025 release of RentalResult brings a series of updates focused on improving efficiency, control, and visibility across your operations. Highlights include a new bulk return enhancement that allows multiple e-codes for the same item to be processed at the line level, saving time and reducing errors. Sales contract functionality has also been upgraded to support configurable uplift calculations based on supplier costs, ensuring more accurate and consistent pricing. For finance and forecasting teams, monthly forecasting is now available, enabling more detailed revenue projections over the course of a project. Additionally, the Job Site Portal now offers greater customization by allowing specific shipping detail fields to be hidden from end users. These updates are designed to streamline workflows and give users more flexibility across departments.

Return Multiple E-Codes Faster with New Bulk Return Enhancement
RentalResult now supports the return of multiple e-codes for the same item code directly at the line level, streamlining the returns process and reducing manual steps. A new “Sel.” column has been added to the Rental Return from Dispatch screen, enabling users to select and manage multiple lines with greater control. The updated interface includes visual indicators to signal the status of each line and guide the user through the necessary actions. These enhancements are designed to improve accuracy, reduce time spent on returns, and ensure more consistent data handling across the returns workflow. Read more →

New Uplift Feature Enhances Sales Contract Pricing Precision
RentalResult now includes configurable uplift functionality within Sales Contract Entry, allowing users to calculate selling prices based on supplier costs plus a fixed or percentage-based uplift. When enabled, this feature prompts for the supplier’s cost and automatically applies the uplift to generate the final sales price. If a back-to-back purchase order is created, the supplier’s cost is carried over to the PO and used as the purchasing price, maintaining consistency between sales and procurement.
This feature can be enabled at both the transaction and account level, with options to allow overrides and set defaults. It also supports mass configuration through static interface files and REST API updates, enabling seamless deployment across large account datasets. Read more →

Monthly Forecasting Now Available for More Granular Revenue Insights
A new enhancement introduces monthly forecasting capabilities, enabling more detailed revenue projections over the life of a project. Forecast values are now stored in a dedicated monthly forecast document, automatically updated when adjustments are made to the main forecast. This level of detail helps finance and operations teams better monitor performance trends and anticipate revenue timing.
The feature can be activated via Portal Parameters and requires project and revenue forecasting to be enabled. Monthly forecasts are generated through the Interface Manager and are accessible via Document Movements Inquiry, where both overall and month-by-month projections can be reviewed. Forecast statuses—such as Ordered, On Rent, or Off Rent—provide additional context for each period. Read more →

Additionally, the requestor’s name is now shown on each On Rent line, providing clearer context for who initiated equipment usage.
