RentalMan Suite – Q1 2025 Release

Every quarter brings a new set of features and modifications for RentalMan and it’s suite of supporting solutions. In Q1 2025, the Wynne Systems product team launches a set of new features for RentalMan and two of the suite’s newest solutions, RapidCount and IntelliSource.

RentalMan

• Web Services Modifications – There are a few new web services modifications that provide some new sales rep connection capabilities between RentalMan and CRMs like Salesforce. One other connection was built for use between RentalMan and vendor/payment applications. Take a look at each one below for more details:
  • Sales rep by Branch – This API allows users to look up and retrieve sales rep information at a location or company level.
  • Creating and updating sales rep records – This new web service allows for creating, updating, and deleting sales reps in RentalMan.
• Phone Number Field Requirement Options – Make phone number required for credit and/or non-credit customers when using the Single Customer Master File module.
• Modification to the PO & Sales Order Link Functionality – For those who do direct drop shipping between vendors and customers, there is now an option to flag purchase orders in RentalMan as “direct delivery” (DD). This helps separate direct delivery inventory, purchase orders, and sales orders from normal inventory.
• RentalMan document printing connection to Salesforce – This new connection between RentalMan and Salesforce allows users to print documents from RentalMan directly in Salesforce.
• Service Call default options – New default setting for service calls related to work orders in RentalMan. Your team can now set a default “yes” or “no” on the “Service Call” field in the Work Order screen.

IntelliSource

• Create & edit reservations – Creating and editing reservations, another important capability for the rental counter, is now available in IntelliSource. This new feature is a massive step forward for IntelliSource, making the solution a friction-free, one-stop shop to seamlessly create, edit, stage, and convert reservations to contracts.
• Color-coded bulk visibility – In the fast paced environment of the rental counter, it’s helpful to have visual references on how much equipment is available without needing to search through other screens. This new feature helps rental teams see how many pieces of equipment are available with red, yellow, and green color indications to show if availability is getting low.
• Equipment availability checks – Whether it’s by phone, email, or in person, availability checks are a vital part of running the rental counter. This new feature helps rental teams see if a specific piece of equipment will be available in the customer’s requested dates and times. If it’s not available, users can see equipment at other branches or with similar capabilities.

RapidCount

• Serialized parts & asset inventory – Rental teams will be able to track serialized assets in RapidCount for specific parts and equipment.
• Multi-entry barcode scanning & number entry – Branch inventory cycle counts involve tens or even hundreds of items. To speed up the counting process even further, RapidCount offers barcode scanning and number entry for multiple items at the same time.
