The 2025 Wynne Systems User Summit brought together a powerful mix of construction professionals, rental operations teams, and technology leaders in Tempe, Arizona for three days of in-depth learning, peer-led discussions, and strategic conversations. While the event covered the full Wynne product suite, RentalResult users found themselves at the center of many of the most actionable and forward-looking discussions.
From deep product insights to real-world client sessions, the RentalResult community left the summit with more than notes, they left with next steps.
Keynotes That Looked to the Future
Two forward-looking keynote speakers helped set the tone for the days ahead, offering clarity on where construction and rental technology are heading, and what that means for the systems we use today.
Joel Honeyman, Vice President of Global Innovation at Doosan Bobcat, opened Day 2 with a grounded but exciting look at how emerging technologies like autonomy, electrification, and AI are transforming the way contractors interact with equipment. His message was clear: new technology must drive tangible value, whether it’s through smarter machines, better safety, or operational time saved.
Hugh Seaton, CEO of The Link.ai and author of The Construction Technology Handbook, followed on Day 3 with a big-picture view of how connected platforms and AI agents are changing workflows across every stage of the construction lifecycle. For companies using systems like RentalResult to run day-to-day operations, the takeaway was direct: integration, automation, and visibility across systems aren’t optional anymore, they’re the foundation of staying competitive.
Learning Together: Product Knowledge in Practice
For RentalResult users, one of the summit’s biggest strengths was the chance to learn directly from peers using the system creatively, efficiently, and often unexpectedly.
The RentalResult roundtable brought clients and product managers together in a focused setting where feedback wasn’t just welcomed, it was foundational. Users shared feature requests, surfaced recurring pain points, and offered ideas for simplifying core workflows. More importantly, attendees heard how other companies are configuring the system to solve challenges they thought were unique to them.
Clients left with immediate, implementable ideas, how to streamline sourcing approvals, ways to better manage internal job cost transfers, and tips for training new users more effectively.
Strategy in Action: Client-Led Stories That Moved the Needle
Several client-led sessions spotlighted how companies are shaping their business models around smarter use of RentalResult.
Brandon Van Zeeland, VP of Operations at Six Side Supply, walked through how the organization rebuilt RentalResult to fit a newly independent supply operation, cutting out steps in distribution, speeding up processes, and laying a more agile foundation for growth. His session showed how rethinking implementation can unlock both operational improvements and better team alignment.
Another key discussion came from Messer Construction and BAM Site Solutions, who shared how they’re actively using external rentals to turn underutilized assets into an organized, revenue-generating stream. This wasn’t just about flipping a feature on, it was a detailed look at pricing structures, partner approvals, risk management, and aligning the entire process inside the system.
The big takeaway? With the right workflows, RentalResult can support not just internal fleet visibility, but an entirely new line of business.
Small Features, Big Fixes
The Hidden Gems session reminded everyone that not every improvement needs to be a major update. Many attendees rediscovered built-in capabilities that had gone under the radar, features that reduce clicks, simplify reports, or eliminate unnecessary manual steps.
Users openly shared their “why didn’t we do this sooner” moments, proving again that sometimes the most impactful improvements are already in the system, just waiting to be seen.
Automating the Math That Matters
Re-rent markup automation was another standout session, showing how RentalResult can be configured to ensure margin recovery and pricing consistency across thousands of vendor-supplied assets. What used to be a manual and often overlooked process is now something clients are turning into dependable revenue through automation. It’s not about adding a new tool, it’s about using the platform more intelligently.
Building Connections And Sinking Putts
While the sessions were packed with insight, some of the best conversations happened well outside the conference room. Our offsite evening at PopStroke gave attendees a chance to unwind over mini golf, yard games, and a great mix of food and drinks.
What started as friendly competition on the putting greens quickly turned into collaborative problem-solving between peers from like-minded companies. Fleet managers compared approaches to tool tracking. Operations leads shared how they structure their teams for better visibility. And first-time attendees got candid advice from long-time RentalResult users on how to tackle everything from training new hires to rolling out external rentals.
It wasn’t just a fun night out, it was a reminder that when the right people get in the same place, ideas move faster.
Looking Ahead
The 2025 User Summit reinforced something that’s always been true: RentalResult isn’t just software, it’s a system shaped by the people using it every day. When clients share, challenge, and collaborate like they did in Tempe, the product improves, the operations get sharper, and the whole community moves forward.
Thanks to everyone who made the trip. We’ll see you next year! Stay tuned for the 2026 Wynne Systems User Summit location announcement.
