RentalMan Core
Enhancement & Features
Targeting Q1 2026
Self-Service Rate Changes
Rental rates are arguably one of the most important aspects of a rental business. You’ll have more flexibility and control in this area with self-service mass rate changes.
Targeting Q3 2026
SOAP to REST API Conversion
In Q2 we’ll be converting SOAP based web services to modern REST APIs. This change will make it even easier for users and partners to integrate with RentalMan. Key benefits include simpler integrations, improved documentation, and future proofing for the latest technologies rental companies are using today. Phase 1 will cover the most-used services with more to follow in the future.
Performance Improvements in Wynne Hub
By introducing lighter weighted APIs and upgrading the connectivity to the RentalMan database, expect to see more nimble response times in choosing part allocations for Work Order and item/equipment selection for Rental Contracts.
Rate Discount APIs
New APIs around rate discounts that will help your organization update rate structures in relation to a specific market and/or category-class of equipment. Price fluctuations and changes in supply/demand conditions can now be reflected in your rate structures through mass equipment rate discount changes.
RMUI
Enhancements & Features
Targeting Q1 2026
API Key Storage Update
We’re updating how API keys connect with other services. This change will make your data more secure, easier to manage, and help ensure continued compatibility as technology evolves. It also means you’ll have more flexibility to use your own keys in the future, keeping your system up-to-date and secure.
New Google API for Jobsite Maps
The JobsiteMap feature is being updated to use the latest version of Google’s Places service, since the old version is being phased out by Google. This ensures continued reliability for users and keeps our system up-to-date with current technology standards.
Targeting Q3 2026
Homepage Management Extension
The homepage on RMUI will be customizable at the user level. This means users can individually update their homepage to whatever they’d like. This is useful in scenarios where a user might use multiple applications in their daily work. The URL of the other application they use could be added to their home screen.
Logistics Solution
Enhancement & Features
Targeting Q2 2026
Role Based Notifications
Standard emails containing complete order details for every minor change can overwhelm everyone involved in the delivery and pickup process. To address this, we are enhancing the Logistics Solution by introducing event triggers and customizable notification templates based on user roles. With these updates, dispatchers, customers, drivers will receive only the specific information as setup in the rule, reducing unnecessary communication and ensuring that each stakeholder receives concise and pertinent updates.
*These notifications will also be leveraged by SMS Notifications (planned for Q2 2026)
Adding Driver Competencies
To ensure safety and less scheduling mix ups, we’re building in driver competency features and rules into Logistics Solution. You’ll be able to tag drivers with certifications, skills, and authorizations. In addition we’re building in notifications to warn or block dispatchers from assigning drivers tasks that don’t fit their competencies.
Synchronized Address Changes
The right address is crucial to on time deliveries and pickups. Sometimes address changes happen though. Right now, notifying the driver of those changes happens manually. We’re updating our APIs to ensure addresses sync in real time for both drivers and dispatchers, keeping everyone on the same page without the need for last minute calls and double checking information.
Order Change Update
Currently, changes in RentalMan fields overwrite updated order fields in Logistics Solution. This update keeps data accurate and up to date for everyone, reduces mistakes, and saves time by making sure only the right details are updated.
Targeting Q3 2026
External Reporting Dashboard View in WLS Module
Reporting and analytics are a critical part of logistics operations. To streamline access to insights, this enhancement will help you embed dashboards from external reporting tools such as Power BI, Reporter5, and others directly into the Logistics Solution. These dashboards provide teams with visibility into key metrics like utilization, on-time performance, and exception queues. No more switching between multiple tabs or searching for reports.
Auto-Routing with HERE Technologies*
Route planning is about to become significantly easier and more efficient. In Q2, automated routing — powered by HERE Technologies — will be introduced to Logistics Solution. This enhancement enables pickups and deliveries to be scheduled efficiently while keeping promised delivery and pickup times in mind. It maximizes driver time on the clock, reduces fuel consumption, minimizes empty loads, keeps call-to-pick times low, and strengthens your competitive advantage through improved delivery, pickup, and field service experiences.
*HERE Tour Planning license required
SMS (Text) Notifications*
As mentioned in the Q1 Role Based Notifications notes on the left, we’ll be introducing SMS text notifications to Logistics Solution as part 2 of this development project. You’ll be able to send SMS texts for role-based notifications, alerts, and shipment tracking links via email or SMS. This is a huge step up in communication capabilities between your dispatchers, drivers, and customers. It ensures better customer experiences with real time updates on deliveries, pickups, and field service activities.
*Twilio license required
Sub-Hauler Email Customization
Many rental companies have different processes in place for working with subhaulers. To ensure positive experiences for your customers, subhaulers, and your rental company, we’re building some new email customization options. These new email customizations will provide a way for you to design email templates with your company’s branding, instructions, and other critical information that sub-haulers need to complete deliveries and pickups.

MobileLink
Enhancement & Features
Targeting Q2 2026
SMS Text Signature Capture
Signature capture can’t always be done on the spot. This enhancement will provide another way for users to send texts with URL links that lead to signature capture pages to customer contacts.
Equipment Exchanges
When MobileLink was developed, the intention was to have the entirety of a yard tech’s tasks inside of a mobile phone or tablet, allowing them to do their work on the spot in the yard rather than walking back to the branch to enter data. In Q2, we’re expanding on that idea by bringing the equipment exchange process to MobileLink.
Sales Item Verification
The last thing you and your customer want is to run into project delays because a part is missing for the rental they ordered. Sometimes it’s easy to miss sales items that are part of a larger order. To help prevent that, we’re bringing in sales item checks to the check-out process, helping teams make sure everything is on the truck when it goes out from the branch.
Transferring Photo Information
Photo information like locations, times, and dates are vital for record keeping on equipment. This is especially true in scenarios where equipment is damaged. Right now, MobileLink captures that photo information but, we’ll be embedding it so that the information properly transfers to wherever you decide to store equipment photos.
Targeting Q3 2026
Wynne Mobile – Check-In/Check-Out
Wynne Mobile is the latest mobile platform for RentalMan. Within the last year, we introduced driver and mechanic functionality to this new, modern app with offline capabilities. In our goal to further unify operational roles into a single application, we’re introducing yard operations like check-in and check-out in Q2.
Hour Meter Reading Update to RentalMan
This new API will automatically transfer hour meter readings to RentalMan from MobileLink during the check out process. The enhancement ensures that information is kept up to date in real time without the need for manual, duplicate data entry.
Photo Comments
Sometimes photos themselves don’t tell the whole story. That’s why we’re adding comments to photos. Drivers, yard techs, and service techs will be able to document further context to photos when needed.
Service Solution
Enhancement & Features
Targeting Q2 2026
Capacity Planning
To further enhance the scheduling capabilities of your service team, we’re bringing capacity planning to Service Solution. This enhancement provides tools to balance workloads, reduce scheduling conflicts, and ensure the right resources are available at the right time. Ultimately its one more tool in the toolbox to maintain and improve equipment turnaround times.
Targeting Q3 2026
Attachment Consolidation
Wynne Mobile currently has 2 tabs for field service technicians to view attachments – one for regular attachments and another for work order attachments. We’ll be combining all attachments into one space to make navigation easier for users in the field.
RenterLink & Customer Portal
Enhancement & Features
Targeting Q2 2026
Modularization – Contract Signatures
As part of the modularization project for Customer Portal, we’ll be focusing on the contract signatures functionality this quarter. This allows the functionality to be embedded into websites or other customer portals.
SMTP Service Transition
Microsoft is discontinuing Outlook 365 SMTP Services. To ensure email capabilities from Customer Portal in the future, we are switching SMTP services to Postmark.
Targeting Q3 2026
Used Equipment Sales
Used equipment sales is a big topic in the industry. Taking full control of these sales rather than going through auctioning or some other service provides better margins for equipment rental companies on selling their used equipment. To assist, we’re adding the ability to sell used equipment on our e-commerce platform, RenterLink. This will provide a seamless user experience for your customers that are buying used equipment.
IntelliSource
Enhancements & Features
Targeting Q2 2026
Inter-Branch Transfers
Operations teams often need to request equipment from another branch if they don’t have it at available at their location. To further expand the full counter and coordinator capabilities in IntelliSource, we’re introducing this transfer request and approval function into the module. Users will be able to quickly request, approve, or deny transfers in the system.
Targeting Q3 2026
Transfer Fulfillment Scanning
When branches decide to make an equipment transfer, it’s important to maximize that trip. After a transfer is started, users will have the option to scan for additional “shortfalls”, which will show them additional equipment or items that each branch should consider transferring to maintain availability levels or fulfill other orders.
Multi-Order Fulfillment
Ideally, your rental coordinators are working all day on rental reservations and contracts. To improve the customer experience and accelerate reservation processing, we’re introducing a new multi-order fulfillment button that will automatically scan upcoming reservations and stages available equipment.
RapidCount
Enhancement & Features
Targeting Q2 2026
Inter-Branch Transfers
Rather than sinking costs into purchasing additional parts or merchandise inventory when their branch is low on stock, this new functionality will allow managers to look for stock at other branches and request a transfer of that inventory in a new dashboard. This eliminates the manual work typically involved in requesting a transfer of stock and makes it easy to evaluate options that cut down on unnecessary spending.
Targeting Q3 2026
Purchasing
In addition to transfers in Q1, purchasing capabilities are being added to RapidCount in Q2. This will allow managers evaluate stock levels and, if needed, purchase inventory directly from vendors in their dashboard. It will reduce vendor shipping costs as well by suggesting purchase of other low-stock inventory items.
Wynne Mobile
Enhancement & Features
Targeting Q2 2026
Video Capture
Video is a great way to add more context to equipment condition reporting. This new video option will sit along side photo and signature capture, helping users form a complete documentation trail. Dispatchers and Customer Service teams will be able to share the videos internally or send to customers when needed.
Order Level Signature Capture
Drivers often deliver multiple pieces in one order. However, signatures can only be captured at load level. We’re adding a new option that will allow for signature capture at the order level. This will make customer signature capture more convenient in scenarios where there are multiple loads or pieces in one large order.
Targeting Q3 2026
Check In/Check Out
As mentioned above in the MobileLink section, we’re bringing the equipment check in and check out processes to Wynne Mobile. This is one more step forward in the plan to consolidate all mobile/field related roles into a single, offline capable mobile application. Yard techs will soon join mechanics and drivers in the app for their daily tasks.
Truck Load Assignments
Right now, loads can only be assigned to drivers. To bring more flexibility to the driver app, we’re bringing in a new option to assign loads to trucks. This will provide another assignment option to teams who operate by truck-based assignment and not driver-based assignment.
Field Service Attachment Consolidation
We’re consolidating the attachment tabs for the driver and mechanic app into one screen. This will allow for better navigation for field service technicians. Rather than navigating across tabs, and editing multiple locations in the app, attachments will be in one place. This ensures better field documentation in the future with less duplication and manual effort.
